I have listened and relistened, read and reread your interviews, poems, books in paper and audio formats. I search regularly for your new posting on Facebook like a hungry wolf. I collected and shared many of your beautiful passages, poems, Facebook postings, pictures in healing circles and with friends. Your presence in a webinar, an interview, a talk is especially precious. These live events often provide a chance to interact and sometimes a chance to experience ideas and concepts first hand with our own being using a third thing and questions you suggested such as the Wild Geese poem and four questions you suggested during the recent “Teaching in Troubling Times.” Each moment of your presence is deeply treasured as I am keenly aware of the transient nature of life. My appreciation and gratitude continuously flow out to you.
It is not surprising that living in Wisconsin for 50 years and working as a pastor there Parker Palmer's books and talks on WPR have been an important part of my life and work. There is a thread of your wisdom that continues to be palpable in my work all the way to the present.
